Embassy Theatre invites you to catch one of the greatest musicals ever made on the big screen! Released in 1965, this film adaptation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Broadway smash won five Academy Awards and solidified Julie Andrew status as the queen of the movie musical.

The Sound of Music follows the blossoming romance between an Austrian naval office and the nanny he's hired to look after his seven children. Among its numerous iconic songs are 'My Favorite Things', 'So Long, Farewell', 'Edelweiss', and 'Maria'. This screening is preceded by a Grand Page organ performance, so make sure you get there early!
